Pemmican
Pemmican, Food concentrate used by North American Indians, has a lot of nutritional values, is easy to transport and store, convenient to use, though not particularly in taste. The composition of pemmican is as follows:
– łój wołowy 33 proc.
– mleko pełne w proszku 20 proc.
– smoked bacon, dried – 17 proc.
– wołowina liofilizowana 10 proc.
– groszek liofilizowany 8 proc.
– koncentrat pomidorowy 5 proc.
– mąka razowa 2 proc.
– dehydrated potatoes (puree) – 2 proc.
– drożdże piwne 1 proc.
– pieprz czarny 1 proc.
– sun – 0,5 proc.
– ziarna kminku 0,5 proc.
Because Pemmican is not on sale, You have to do it yourself, at home: Cut the tallow into small cubes and cook slowly, until the water boils completely, and the fat will take on a dark color. Do the same with bacon. Add milk powder, freeze -dried beef and tomato puree. Mix and add the remaining ingredients; cut into pieces and store in waxed paper or in aluminum foil.
