Cleaning of drinking water

In natural conditions, the water is rarely perfectly clean, usually not directly suitable for drinking, because it contains various microorganisms, which can cause many serious diseases. There are also sediments such as silt, therefore it should be filtered before consumption. People got used to it, tap water is potable; however, in many countries even such water needs to be decontaminated. Some people's bodies adapt to lightly polluted water and do not respond immediately with ailments, but they suffer from chronic diseases of the digestive system.

TREATMENT METHODS

Except for rainwater, even looking crystal clear water from any natural source, except for H20 molecules, it contains numerous other substances, such as mineral salts and microorganisms that are harmful to health. Water drawn from a natural spring should be filtered first, to remove dissolved in it: sand, silt or other sediments. Filtered and you need to boil for at least five minutes or add disinfectants, to destroy pathogenic microbes. Never drink without treating sea water or urine, however, in an emergency, these fluids can be distilled. There are many types of water treatment equipment on the market. Most of them filter it first, and then cleans and sanitizes. Instead of conditioners, you can add disinfectant tablets to the filtered water or boil it.

Iodine
Sanitizes the water, but it's easy to get dirty with it, besides, the water turns pink when iodine is added, with a specific taste.

Potassium permanganate
It is a basic chemical with bactericidal properties and is used to disinfect water. It should be added as much, for the water to turn pink.

Disinfectant tablets
They contain chlorine, therefore they give the water a taste of swimming pool water, but they are effective. One tablet is generally used in half a liter of contaminated water.

Portable water filter
The end of the rubber hose is put into a vessel with contaminated water. By pumping, we make it, that the filtered water flows from the spout into a container provided.

Foldable water conditioner
When unfolded, it can even fit in a pocket. Dirty water is filtered through a filter, which fits over the end of the water bottle. Purified and sanitized water drips into the vessel.

Large conditioner
The round end of one hose is immersed in polluted water, the end of the second one is put into the bucket. Water from a natural spring is sucked in with a pump. The purified water flows down the second hose to the bucket.
