Animal food

The meat of all mammals and birds is edible, as long as it was fresh (the exception is the liver of polar bears and seals). Bird eggs provide good food provided, they are fresh (they may even contain embryos). Lizards, snakes (even poisonous), frogs, salamanders can be eaten after skinning (toads should not be eaten). Only eat fish fresh. Fish which have no scale or are to be avoided should be avoided, which have an unusual appearance. It is not allowed to eat the insides of the fish, and especially the liver.

They are edible: Different animals Psy, cats, hares, hedgehogs, porcupines, borsuki; skin and gutted. Cook with edible herbs.
Crustaceans Crabs, north, Eat shrimp right after catch. By adding tubers and herbs, you get the perfect soup. Steam or water to cook, bake.
Insects Locusts, earthworms, termity, ants, larvae. Fried or baked on a hot stone. You can also eat them raw (they are more nutritious, though less appetizing).
Molluscs In the tropics, eat only these, that live in open waters. Steamed or boiled in water with the shells.
Reptiles Remove the head, the skin, guts. Small snakes are fried on a stick, large boil snakes, and then bake.
Frogs They are all edible, except toads.
The birds They are all edible.
Rodents Field and desert rats are edible; take off the skin, gut. Boiled or baked.
