Replacement notebook- what it should look like?

Notebook (notebook) replacement- what it should look like?

So, how the teammate has his teamwork book, so also the surrogate should keep the Book of Hosts. It is a document in which the most important things about the work of the host and its members are recorded.

It is usually created by the team and handed over to the substitute at the beginning of the scouting year, or a few days before. But what should be in it?

Front page

This is where basic information should be placed, such as:

  • Team name and number

  • Information about the team and how to contact them

  • Substitute and substitute data

  • The name of the host

  • The period of time covered by the notebook (it can be half a year or a scout year).

  • When do collections take place

The rituals of the host

The next page should be devoted to the host itself. Where did the name of the host come from?? Do the scouts sing a song at the beginning of the fundraiser? if so, what? Do they have a cry? What else distinguishes their host from the rest?

Host List.

Well, if one page is devoted to one person. Here the substitute should write down the most important information, such as

  • First name and last name

  • Age

  • What is the function of

  • What degree does he have

  • Whether the scout made the Scout Pledge and when
  • Since he is in the host

  • What abilities it has

  • What projects / tasks has he participated in

  • Other information as needed (camps and camps in which he participated, what are his interests, etc.)

Alarm grid

How does the alarm network function in your troops?? The substitute sends information to everyone, is there a different flow of information? In the age of computers and the Internet, the older forms of the alarm net are no longer applicable, however, it is worth delegating some responsibility for conveying messages to other members of the host.

Presence

At the beginning of the collection, the presence should be checked and then recorded in the appropriate place in the notebook. A simple table should do the trick. It is worth considering, whether for the greatest attendance at the assemblies of the group should not honor the scout with some award at the end of the scout semester / year.

Host Work Plan

How to write a host work plan is discussed in the article Host work plan in 5 steps.

Rally plans and host tasks.

The collection plan is nothing more than a truncated version of the outline. How to write a fundraising plan can be found in this article. Older house projects also belong here- read. Starszoharcerski project- How to do it?

Team comments

Every time the squad checks the work of the squad, he should write down his observations about his work in the notes. The substitute will then know if something needs to be changed and what and how to improve. When checking, let's not limit ourselves to just writing "Please correct your collection plans". Let's add what was wrong, where to look for help and how to do it, so that the collections were better and better.

Other

Many others can be placed in the replacement booklet, making work easier. Phone numbers for friends of the host, contact to school, calendar ... But don't overdo it with the quantity, as this may discourage the replacement!
PS. A contentious issue may be the placement of private information of scouts, such as your first and last name. These are so-called Personal Data, subject to the Personal Data Protection Act. It is worth considering, whether the names and surnames in the certificate and attendance table should not be replaced, for example, by. pseudonym me.
And you have replacement notebooks?
